Tiny IP67-rated tactile switch improves design flexibility

LITTELFUSE C&K Switches NanoT series of miniature, surface-mounted, low-profile, waterproof tactile switches are suitable for smart wearables, health monitoring devices and other battery-powered IoT devices. Devices interface is small, providing product designers room to build additional functionality into the design or reduce printed circuit board (pcb) size. Devices use the surface-mount technology (SMT) reflow process for the top version (2.1 x 1.65 x 0.55mm) and Pin-in-Paste (PIP) reflow process for the side version (2.2 x 1.70 x 1.65mm). PIP or SMT edge-mount versions permit resistance to shock and shear testing, improving equipment lifetime while reducing layers of protections.
